Christian Geissinger, 1839

I’m pleased to announce the release of Christian Geissinger, 1839. The sampler is unusual for a couple of reasons – the bold rose border was what first caught my eye! Also, the sampler was stitched by a boy instead of a girl! The sampler is stitched in wool and we chose to do the same using Gentle Arts Simply Wool. The chart and thread pack can be purchased on my site at I want to thank especially Robert Smith for stitching the reproduction and Edie Antl of Art Etc in Cleveland, OH for framing the piece. Edie chose a beautiful mahogany frame that showcases the sampler so nicely. She is available for framing through mail order as well as having a shop in Cleveland.
