I’m pleased to announce the release of Christian Geissinger, 1839. The sampler is unusual for a couple of reasons – the bold rose border was what first caught my eye! Also, the sampler was stitched by a boy instead of a girl! The sampler is stitched in wool and we chose to do the same using Gentle Arts Simply Wool. The chart and thread pack can be purchased on my site at victorianroseneedleartsshoppe.com. I want to thank especially Robert Smith for stitching the reproduction and Edie Antl of Art Etc in Cleveland, OH for framing the piece. Edie chose a beautiful mahogany frame that showcases the sampler so nicely. She is available for framing through mail order as well as having a shop in Cleveland.
