Christina Junor, 1834

Delightful Scottish reproduction sampler chart depicts the sampler first stitched by Christina Junor in 1834. Typical of Scottish samplers, the reproduction features prominent red and green colors with crowns with family initials displayed underneath. Also depicted are peacocks with 7 tail feathers, urns of big beautiful flowers, and a simple yet striking house.

Stitch count is 244 x 240 and the model is stitched on 32 ct Picture This Plus Oaken with Gentle Arts and Weeks overdyed cotton thread. Cross stitch is used throughout.
